Camping with POPTI

POPTI - The celebration of the harvest of beans that we call ‘Vaal’ !!

POPTI a unique dish made during the harvest festival of beans . The dish is made in an earthen pot with onions, eggs, chicken , chilly powder & beans . The pot is further stuffed with the leaves up to its neck. Then it is placed in the fire created by lighting the dry leaves and wood in and around the farm.
POPTI is never eaten alone, its always for a party!!! The pot is kept in the center and everyone sits around the pot warming themselves idyllically in the warmth of the now dying embers of the fire on which the Popti was cooked.
Come and enjoy this traditional delicacy before the POPTI season ends. 

About the Campsite: A beautiful remote location located about 25 kms from Khopoli, on the Khopli-Pali road at the banks of Kondgaon Dam backwaters

Accommodation: Comfortable Tents with beds, blankets etc
Food: Home made Vegetarian / Non Vegetarian 
Toilet Facilities: Built Indian and Western Toilets available

ITINERARY
Day 1
Reach campsite at 4.30- 5.00pm for Evening Tea+Snacks
Explore the campsite
Enjoy POPTI Campfire at night
Dinner and overnight Stay

Day 2 
A lazy morning!! 
After Breakfast proceed for short trek along the kondgaon dam
Return to Campsite for Lunch
Package ends after Lunch
