Parents & Kids Summer Camp

At Add-venture India we are devoted to outdoor adventure; activities like hiking, rock climbing and mountaineering.
Adventure Activities inculcate courage, patience, determination, leadership, confidence, team spirit and cultivate a love for the environment and respect for nature.


For children, the time is ripe to learn these skills because in tomorrow’s competitive environment, these will prove to be skills rudimentary to survival. And slowly, but surely, this idea is gaining acceptance in our country. Many prestigious schools have an ‘Outdoor Education Programme’ as part of their regular curriculum.

We have come up with a fun filled adventure camp where Parents get a chance to go on camp with their kids and enjoy the activities as much as the childrens do.

​

For Kids : Fun filled with activities like Rock Climbing, Rappelling, River Crossing, tent pitching coupled with sessions on rope knots, team building and plenty of adventure games.

For Parents : Older Kids and Parents will undertake a high altitude trek to Beas Kund, perched at a height of 3893 mtrs. 

Mesmerizing meadows of Dhundi and Bakarthach will be a part of your trail on Beas Kund Trek.

No limit for upper age!!

DETAILED ITINERARY

​

Day 0: Reach Delhi/Chandigad.
For entire Group : Participants will have to board their bus to Manali from Delhi/Chandigad on the evening of 27th May 2023. Make sure your train/flight arrives before 2:00 pm at Delhi or by 6.00 pm at Chandigad on so there is enough buffer time to board your bus. Meals are not covered during bus travel.

 

Day 1: Arrival at Manali - Jeep Ride to Solang Valley (8000 ft).

For entire Group : We will arrive at Manali in the morning and will be picked up by Jeeps that will take us to the Campsite at Hotel Iceland, Solang. Post lunch we shall trek to Anjani Mahadev for an Acclimatization walk. Overnight stay at the Campsite at Hotel Iceland at Solang.

Day 2: 
For Kids : Adventure Activities around the Campsite - Overnight Stay back at the Campsite 
For Parents : Drive from Solang to Dhundi (14 km) - Trek from Dhundi (9,317 ft) to Palchani Nala (10,134 ft). Night Stay in Tents

 

Day 3: 

For Kids : Adventure Activities around the Campsite - Overnight Stay back at the Campsite 
For Parents : Trek from Palchani Nala (10,134 ft) to Laholi (11,050 ft). Night Stay in Tents

Day 4: 

For Kids : Treasure Hunt around the Campsite - Overnight Stay back at the Campsite 
For Parents : Trek from Laholi (11,050 ft) to Beas Kund (12,772 ft) and Back to Laholi. Night Stay in Tents

 

Day 5:  Descend to Solang Valley.  

For Kids : Adventure Activities around the Campsite - Overnight Stay back at the Campsite 
For Parents : Trek back from Laholi to Dhundi and drive to the Hotel at Solang for Lunch. In the evening you can explore the adventure activities at Solang valley or just chill at the hotel lounge!! Overnight stay at the Campsite at Hotel Iceland at Solang

Day 6: Drop to Manali.

For entire Group : Post breakfast we will shall be dropped by jeeps from Solang valley to Manali to catch the bus to Delhi/Chandigad.
Most Busses leave from Manali to Delhi / Chandigad by by 5 PM. So you will have half a day to explore around Manali. 

 

Day 7: Arrival at New Delhi/Chandigad
For entire Group : We shall arrive at Chandigad by 5.00 am and to Delhi by 8.00 am. Book your train/flight tickets from Chandigad after 12.00 noon or from Delhi after 4.00 pm on 3 June 2023, so there is enough buffer time to cover traffic delays in the bus journey.

  • Qualified Mountaineering Experts to conduct the adventure ativities

  • Forest permits as needed.

Exclude: 

  • Travel from hometown to Manali and back. - However we can arrange the same for you at your request.

  •  Meals during Flight/Train/bus journey. 

  •  Cost of Emergency / Medical expenses.

  •  Personal Porter Charges

  •  Bottled water, soft drinks, room service, food/beverage etc

  •  Any personal expense, ​Personnel Insurance etc.

  • Any thing not mentioned in 'Include' as above

  • GST @5% of the tour Cost

 

Cancellation Policy

  • 15 days and less nil refund.

  • 16 days to 30 days 50% refund.

  • 30 days to 60 days 75% refund
