KIYARKOTI LAKE TREK
This trek visits Alpine forests of bhojpatra, (the famous "paper tree"), juniper, and the stately deodar. The famous Kyarkoti bugyals (Alpine meadows) Spectacular views of the famous snow capped high Himalayas Srikanth and some unnamed mountains, Kyarkotital mountain lake. Hardy bakriwale (mountain headers) with their flocks of sheep and goats, frequent sightings of families of lithe and lively langoor (like a black-faced monkey) swinging through the tree canopy high above, Chances to see ibex, snow fox, mountain crow, and eagles
IItinerary –
Day 01 Arrival at Haridwar, check in to the hotel. Over night stay.
Day 02 Morning drive from Haridwar to Harsil (2400 mt.) Drive 255 kms.
Arrival at Harsil. Over night stay.
Day 03 Morning trek start from Harsil to Bamjeru (2750 Mt.) Trek 06 kms.
Arrival at Bamjeru. Over night stay.
Day 04 Morning trek start from Bamjeru to Gangnani (3300 mt.) Trek 6 kms
Arrival at Gangnani. Over night stay.
Day 05 Morning trek from Gangnani to Kyarkoti (3800 mt.) Trek 05 kms.
Arrival at Kyarkoti. Over night stay.
Day 06 Rest day / Height gain.
Day 07 Trek from Kyarkoti to Laldevta (3100 mt.) Trek 12 kms.
Arrival at Laldevta. Over night stay.
Day 08 Trek from Laldevta to Harsil. Trek 05 kms.
Drive from Harsil to Rishikesh. Drive 230 kms.
Arrival at Rishikesh. Over night stay.
Day 09 Morning River Rafting at Ganga.
Proceed back.
