BEACH CYCLING - Uttan to Versova

Dates as per your choice

 

A day cycling trip which starts from Bhayander and goes along the west cost of Mumbai to Andheri. We will take The 40 km route and visit beaches of Uttan, Gorai, Manori, Marve, hamla, Aksa This is not a race against time. It is short distance to be covered in reasonably comfortable time so that you enjoy the beaches and the sea. You might also be tempted to take a dip to cool off!!

 

Itinerary and Route - Approx 40 kms

We assemble at Andheri Railway Station at 6.00 am and catch the train along with our Bicycles to reach bhayander by 7.00 am. those who wish to join us from Bhayander can do so at 7.00 am.  

We start our ride from Bhayander and proceed towards Uttan beach. Getting the salty breeze we move further to Gorai, Manori and reach the Manori Ferry Point. 

We take the ferry accross to Marve and proceed to Hamla Beach, Aksa Beach going further south to Madh jetty.

Here again we take another ferry accross the waters to reach versova. Our ride ends at Andheri Station 

 

COST PER PERSON 

  • INR 750/- (With Support Vehicle & Escort) (Minimum of 8 paxs) 

 

COST INCLUDES:

1. Food: 

  • Breakfast, Lunch,Tea, Bananas, Tang etc.

3. A trained guide on cycle along the route along with necessary puncture kit etc. However each rider will have to carry one spare tube. Minor repairs such as replacing tube, changing Cables can be done.  

4. A support vehicle all along the route, which would take care of your luggage.

5. First Aid.

6. Ferry boat charges for individuals and cycles

 

COST EXCLUDES:

  • Govt. service tax applicable at prevailing rates. (At present 3.5%).

  • Any expenses of personal nature such as hiring charges for cycle, mineral water, laundry, tips to driver or any other service personnel etc.

  • Any kind cost needed for spares to repair a cycle in case of break down.

  • Any kind of insurance, such as accident, theft, medical, evacuation etc.

  • Any additional expense caused due to any reason beyond control of ADD-VENTURE INDIA and its associates; like change in itinerary , road blockage, landslides, bad weather conditions, bridge breakage and any other natural calamity or incidence like strike, curfew etc. on which ADD-VENTURE INDIA and its associates do not have any control.

  • Items not specified in the above in ‘Cost Includes’.

  • Any expense incurred by us for any medical emergency / for evacuation for any reason, the expenses for the same would be borne by the concerned participant.

 

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • Your luggage would be carried in the support vehicle.

  • If any minor repair work needs to be done (like punctured tyre etc.), we would do it free of cost; but any major repair work and/or involving spare parts, would be charged at actual.

  • The distances mentioned in the above itinerary are to the best of our knowledge & information. Some minor variations would be expected.

  • Sometimes during the cycling tour we might have to serve either packed breakfast / lunch.

 

Cancellation:

  • Tour Cancellation charges are applicable on Actual Full Tour Price

  • Between 29 – 15 days 60% of the tour cost.

  • Between 14 – 09 days 75% of the tour cost.

  • Between 08 – 02 days 90% of the tour cost.

  • Day of tour departure of the tour 100%

 

Payment: 100% Advance
